Reverse Angle 78

51 players played in Reverse Angle 78, CCCSA's most popular Saturday tournament.  As always, there was a $850 guaranteed prize fund distributed in three sections: Top, Under 1800, and Under 1400.

TOP
The Top section had 14 players, with the top seed being Daniel "9:59am" Cremisi (2367).  The other top seeds were experts Sulia "the brick" Mason (2030) and Vishnu "Vishy" Vanapalli (2008).  Vishnu, Adharsh Rajagopal (1939), and Pradhyumna "Glasses" Kothapalli (1915) were warming up for CCCSA's Junior Invitational later this month.

Daniel Cremisi won clear first place, earning $175 for his 3/3 score.  There was a massive tie for second place (2/3), with Vishnu Vanapalli, Neil Deshpande (1965), Adharsh Ragaopal, Xiaodong Jin (1830), Aditya Shivapooja (1829), and Daniel Andrzejewski (1823) each earning $20.


Under 1800
The largest section of the day was the U1800 section with 21 players.  The top seeds were South Carolina's Connor Liu (1704), frequent CCCSA prize winner Danny "The Professional" Cropper (1655), and Amit Mydukur (1619) from Atlanta, Georgia.

Andrew Jiang (1607) won the section with 3/3, earning $150.  Danny Cropper, Patrick Kengsoontra (1593), and Grisham Paimagam (1441) scored 2.5/3, each receiving $45 for their split of second place and the U1600 class prize.

Under 1400
The U1400 had 16 players, including top seed Paige Cook (1345), a frequent U1400 Reverse Angle champion.

Pranav Swarna (1295), Bradley Juopperi (1289), and Allan Miller (1270) tied for first place with 2.5/3, good for $75 each.  Akshay Rajagopal (1028) and Saanchi Sampath (1025) earned $25 each (top under 1200 prize).

U1400, Round 2 - Femi Ogunwale (977) def. Rishi Nair (1136) - 159 points
U1800, Round 2 - Grisham Paimagam (1441) def. David Richards (1600) - 159 points
