Hello, this is your color commentator here to inform you that there were 28 players present for the final round of Tuesday Night Action 32. Let's see what we had. On the top board, Daniel Cremisi(2304) was feeling quite blue following his loss to Mark Biernacki(2117), despite the fact that the four points he finished with was still enough for a clear first place finish in the tournament. Meanwhile, the Slow Italian was played between Patrick McCartney(2063) and Dominique Myers(2115) where up through White's 34th move, the game was fairly well played with possibly a miniscule advantage for Black. However, from that point on, the entire game went to "brown stuff" as Black proceeds to blunder a piece on the 34th move, giving White a clearly won position, where all he needs to do is walk the King to f3, but having to virtually work off the increment for the rest of the game, White blundered away the win into a draw by getting his Knight trapped, and then he proceeds to blunder again in time trouble, this time converting the draw into a dead lost position, the game of which can be analyzed below. Meanwhile, Sulia Mason(1985) remained red hot by getting his third straight win, this time against Aditya Shivapooja(1767). Grant Oen(2147) was given the green light to demolish William Clayton(1748), Vishnu Vanapalli(1975) and Pradhy Kothapalli(1870) must have thought they were both at a tropical island as their game ended in the same manner as the flow of the bright blue water, peacefully! Luke Harris(1707) knocked David Richards(1641) with a pair of yellow cards while David Blackwelder(1695) struck gold as he mined Ali Shirzad's(1695) king.
In the lower section, if drawing were the main goal, the blue ribbon would go to Aditya Vadakattu(1062) as he proceeded to get his 5th draw in as many rounds against Saanchi Sampath(1225). Meanwhile, Kiru Mendez(1640), David McGee(1512), Sampath Kumar(1448), Corey Frazier(1404), Richard Trela(1092), and Daniel Boisvert(1089) gave out purple hearts to Hassan Hashemloo(1307), Devon Jackson(UNR), Phillip Miller(1555), Debs Pedigo(1340), Brian Ruff(1058), and Bruce Parrish(UNR), respectively.
